Having launched what was arguably Canada's first B2B e-commerce-enabled web site for manufacturers (early 1996), and subsequently taking a pioneer role with Rogers Communications (iMedia Division) as Director of Strategic Internet Development, Phil Cohen has been involved with digital media since the 1995.
Phil has done strategic development work in digital media for two of Canada's largest magazine publishers and has remained a keen observer and student of digital media throughout his career.
Over the years the traditional publishing model has been turned on its head and New Media has transformed the world of news and information. 2008 and 2009 were watershed years for this industry.
